How renting works

(This is strictly an overview. Details are expressed in contract.)

Rental Terms:

  • Browse through our inventory and create your wishlist. Then contact us with your wishlist and rental dates to confirm pricing and availability. At that time, an invoice and rental agreement will be sent to you.

  • Reach out to us if you don’t see something you are looking for. Our inventory is constantly changing and growing. We may have what you are looking for but have not uploaded it to our website, yet. If not, we may be able to locate it for you!

  • Much of our inventory is hand-crafted or lovingly refreshed by Morsels. Each of these items is inherently unique and priced accordingly.

  • We require a 3f5% (of total invoice amount) non-refundable deposit to reserve rentals for your dates. Once your deposit and rental agreement are received by Morsels, your dates will be reserved.

  • If you should need to cancel for any reason, we request a minimum of 30 days advance notice (prior to initial date of reservation period). The initial deposit remains non-refundable.

  • We do not issue refunds for inclement weather. We require that you have a Plan B for inclement weather if your event is outdoors.

  • Final payment (remaining 65% of total invoice amount) is due 21 days prior to reservation date. If the final payment is not received by the due date, your reservation dates may be released. The initial deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Renter is responsible for proper care, use and cleanliness of rented items from time of possession to return. (*Please see our Delivery/Pick-Up Terms and Damage Policy highlights for more information.)

Delivery/Pick-Up Terms:

*PLEASE NOTE: Effective June 2023, our rental delivery service is completely booked out and unavailable for new orders. Delivery can be an expensive additional cost to the budget of your event. We want our rentals to brighten up your event without causing any additional financial stress. And we know that you will take good care of our pieces in exchange.

At this time, in appreciation of our renter self-pick up/return customers, we are offering a 10% refund upon timely (per contract) return of unaltered, damage-free, odor-free rental items (per Damage Policy and rental agreement terms).

*Renter self-pick-up/return times for 24-hour rentals on Monday-Thursday are Monday-Friday, 8-11am, as stated in rental agreement.

*Renter self-pick-up/return times for rentals on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are on the following Monday, 8-11am, as stated in rental agreement.

  • Rental periods are typically for 24-hours and specified on the rental agreement. Delivery and pick-up dates and times are stated on the rental agreement. Any requested changes in dates/times must be agreed upon by Morsels in advance.

  • Morsels delivery and return pick-up may be available (dependent on dates) for rental orders of $350 or more. We charge a base charge of 30% of the rental order, or a minimum of $125, for both delivery and pick-up. In addition to the base rate, the delivery fee will include a charge of 65.5 cents per mile (both to and from) for both delivery and pickup (a total of 4 times, unless additional trips are required). Miles are calculated from our warehouse on 71st. Please note that other conditions (as stated on rental agreement) and delivery/pickup outside of normal business hours may result in additional fees.

  • Renter pick-up/return is available for most items. We do require that items be transported in a closed vehicle/trailer to help avoid weather/wind damage. In addition, all items must be securely wrapped and constrained for transit to help avoid damage.

  • All rental items are thoroughly inspected for damages and cleanliness after each use. The renter is responsible for, and will be charged reasonable fees for cleaning and repairs upon rental return (in addition to original rental fees), as deemed necessary by Morsels. Renter is responsible for all replacement costs, including labor, for items not returned. (*Please see our Damage Policy highlights for more information.)
